Once you have found a property you like we encourage you to view the property in person or watch one of our virtual tours to ensure the property is to your liking before placing an offer.

landlords and agents are required to undertake a number of checks at this point to ensure you meet the affordability criteria for the property you are interested in and have the ability to follow through on the contract. Furthermore, we are legally required to check you have the Right to Rent in the UK. We will need to see a valid UK passport or an equivalent document(s) to ensure you are legally allowed to reside in the UK. We have partnered with The Lettings Hub who will carry out background checks on you and any guarantors.
Required Documents
When placing your offer it is a good idea to have the following document available to ensure an efficient process:
- Refundable Holding Deposit – equivalent of one weeks’ rent
- Valid Identification Documents – primary examples include UK Passport, Biometric residence Permit, EEA/Swiss National Passport/Identity Card
- Visa (if applicable)
- Proof of Address – primary examples include bank statement and utility bills (no older than three months)
- Employer and Income Information
